How Barterbloom Works

Start trading in six easy steps

1. STEP 1

   Create your account

   Sign up, verify your email, and introduce yourself with a profile.

2. STEP 2

   List what you have

   Add goods or services, include useful photos and descriptions, and say what you'd consider in exchange.

3. STEP 3

   Find what you want

   Browse other traders' listings and see what they have available.

4. STEP 4

   Build your trade

   Choose one or more of their listings, then choose one or more of yours. Combine items or services into one offer.

5. STEP 5

   Send and discuss your offer

   The other trader can accept, decline, or counter your proposed bundle. Review the details together before exchanging.

6. STEP 6

   Exchange and confirm

   Complete the exchange safely, then both parties confirm the trade in Barterbloom.

Build a Better Trade

You aren't limited to swapping one item for one item. Build a customized two-person trade by combining multiple listings from each person's inventory. One item for two? Two for three? Build an offer that works for both of you.

One offer, two traders, multiple items. Estimated values help guide discussion, but each person decides whether an exchange is fair.

Need to adjust? The receiving trader can propose a counteroffer before both sides agree.
